Further to the post included below, regarding the discussion on meditation between Peter Russell and Eckhart Tolle, I found Peter's 'no technique' explanation very similar in how I experienced an extremely strong emotion the other day. Feeling a tremendous surge of anger due to the actions of another person, I suddenly, in the midst of feeling all this emotion, decided to let go of the story, and dive right into the actual feeling of it with no judgement, just observing as it flowed thru my body. It was truly a cathartic experience in that, to my total surprise, this supposedly 'negative' feeling just naturally left my body in a very short period of time, much less than, I'm convinced, would have had I continued to buy into the story, in addition to laying judgement of how I shouldn't be feeling this way.

This experience was beyond liberating, and I realized that the old adage 'What you resist, persists' is a truly telling statement - one that if sincerely practiced, can have a HUGE impact on our own personal evolutionary development as we traverse through this physical sojourn.

IADC® Therapy with Dr. Allan L. Botkin, Psy.D.

"Psychotherapists today are consistently helping grieving people experience a reconnection with someone who has passed away, resulting in healing deep sadness associated with grief. The method of inducing this experience, called “induced after-death communication” or IADC®, was discovered in 1995 by Dr. Allan L. Botkin, Psy.D." Continue Here

The Wild and The Knowing: Wildlife of a Powerful Nature

"Internationally-Recognized Artist Bernadette McCormack's current series of work is inspired by Canada's wildlife, a subject she had not broached before. She has recently been exploring the world of animals and enjoying the challenge of rendering wildlife in her distinct style, honoring the creatures that walk our earth with their unique wisdom and ever-lasting strength."

BIOS URN

"How would you like to grow into a tree after you die?

This is a Bios Urn, a completely biodegradable urn that contains a single tree seed. When planted, the tree seed is nourished by and absorbs the nutrients from the ashes. The urn itself is made from coconut shell and contains compacted peat and cellulose. The ashes are mixed with this, and the seed placed inside. You can even choose which type of tree you'd like to grow!

So which would you prefer; leaving behind a tree or a tombstone?"

Enlightenment: Is Science Ready to Take it Seriously?

"...the very real spiritual transformation at the heart of mysticism is about to explode into the secular mainstream, and the consequences may just revolutionize our scientific understanding of the mind."

WHY BAD SCIENCE IS LIKE BAD RELIGION

Dr. Rupert Sheldrake - Biologist & Author

"In both religion and science, some people are dishonest, exploitative, incompetent and exhibit other human failings. My concern here is with the bigger picture.

I have been a scientist for more than 40 years, having studied at Cambridge and Harvard. I researched and taught at Cambridge University, was a research fellow of the Royal Society, and have more than 80 publications in peer-reviewed journals. I am strongly pro-science. But I am more and more convinced that that the spirit of free inquiry is being repressed within the scientific community by fear-based conformity. Institutional science is being crippled by dogmas and taboos. Increasingly expensive research is yielding diminishing returns."

"That a million smart people say "yes" is not a good reason for you to say "yes" if you do not have the experience and understanding to support it. Determining truth is not a democratic process ruled by the majority. It is also not something that someone else can do for you. Do not let these smart people sway you to agree with them simply because they are smart."

Borrowed From Natalie Sudman's book - Application of Impossible Things - My Near Death Experience in Iraq (Brilliant Read!)

'Religion tells us we’re fundamentally sinners, and science tells us we’re fundamentally aggressive survivors. My experience in expanded awareness environments, however, assures me that we’re fundamentally good, holy, cooperative, creative, and amazingly cool.'

Who Knew?

FINALLY made the decision to set all the stories aside of why I shouldn't (or couldn't) totally, completely, unequivocally, etc., etc., put all my 'play' into what my passion TRULY is (and has been all along), fully immersing myself in it - what a difference it's made (holy s@#t - SUCH an understatement!). Things really do fall into place (presenting/appearing in ways that seem uncannily miraculous?), when one actually stops being luke warm about what really turns their crank...who knew??

The Monroe Institute Canadian Gateway/Guidelines Program Announcement

The Monroe Institute - Canada
~ TMI Provides Programs Facilitating the Personal Exploration of Human Consciousness ~

The Monroe Institute is thrilled to announce their second year of programing for Super Natural Vancouver Island.  In 2013 they will be offering three official 6-day residential programs — two Gateway programs (May 25 -- 31 and Aug 10 -- 16) as well as a graduate "Guidelines" program (Oct 12 -- 18).  Identical to the programs at the Institute's headquarters, the Vancouver Island programs fully qualify participants to attend graduate programs at the Monroe Institute in Virginia.

The facility, Honeymoon Bay Lodge & Retreat, is located on beautiful Cowichan Lake in the community of Honeymoon Bay, the perfect place for the Gateway Voyage. Nestled at the edge of an old growth forest within a short walk of one of the most beautiful lakes on the island, the retreat is wonderfully quiet, peaceful and serene.

In addition to the best of Island hospitality and dining, the resort offers complete access to versatile meeting rooms, restful lounging spaces and quiet guest rooms.  Participants enjoy taking full advantage of the fitness room, saltwater hot-tubs and infrared saunas, as well as on-site spa services such as massage, reflexology and neuro-feedback therapy, in addition to natural outdoor labyrinths and groomed forest pathways.

Modern and spacious, the retreat's guest rooms are specially wired for stereo head-phones, allowing participants to enjoy our Hemi-Sync program sessions in the comfort of their own beds and bedrooms. Most of the participant rooms are based on double occupancy, but single rooms are also available.

We encourage you to visit The Monroe Institute Programs Canada - http://monroeinstitute-canada.com/
